Pastor Doug Fisher and many of our staff have served in the military. We live in a country that is still free to worship a risen Savior and know it is because of the men and women who fight daily to protect that freedom. We live in a large military community and believe we should honor the men and women who put themselves in harms way so we can worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Any one is welcome to come. Whether you are in the military, served in the military or just want to support our military, please be our guest.
Why we do it
Special Music
The members of our church choir and orchestra practice to make this day a special one for all our visitors and church members alike. There will be specials to honor all the branches of the military and others that are sure to make you proud to be an american.
Our color guard is comprised of members of Lighthouse Baptist Church and either serve or have served in the military. Each branch of service is represented as well as a special detail designed to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Gifts for Visitors
This year at our God and Country Event we are inviting all member of the military to wear their uniforms. We will have photographers available to take pictures of the servicemember and their families. The photographs will be available within a few weeks for pick up in our foyer. We are happy to give this gift to our visitors and hope you will return to the services after God and Country so we can continue to serve your family.
Meal for Visitors
What would a celebration be without an all american meal. We invite all visiting service members and their families to a meal in our courtyard after the services. It is one of the ways we can say "thank you" for serving God and Country.
Shadow Box Display
Many of our retired service members like to keep a shadow box as a memoir of thier time in the service. If you have a shadow box, either your own or a loved ones, that you would like to have in our display please contact Dan Frost at church or frostfam0731@sbcglobal.net
